Cricket Pitch Covers

Cricket Pitch Covers have been used by sports grounds and schools with cricket pitches for a very long time. These covers are made from a very durable and robust PVC material. The PVC is available in a variety of thicknesses and colours. The covers have very low maintenance.

Cricket Pitch Covers are fitted with handles for ease of use.

The PVC material we use is UV protected and comes standard with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty. It should last much longer than 2 years, probably between 4 and 6 years. We have covers that are 7 years old and still being used today. The cover can be folded easily and should be stored safely to ensure longevity.

Cover Fitment

Due to the size and the weight of the cover, a number of people have to work together when fitting the cricket pitch cover. We can also manufacture 2 smaller tarps for ease of use when fitting or folding the cricket pitch cover. The 2 tarps or covers will then overlap to cover the complete cricket pitch.

Function & Usage

The Cricket Pitch Cover is mainly used to keep rain and moisture off the cricket pitch to prepare the pitch for upcoming games. The cover prevents sunlight passing through and stops the pitch from cracking before matches.

African Tarpaulins and Supplies offers a wash and repair service of existing covers should the need arise.

Logo’s and artwork can also be done on these covers to promote certain brands and or sponsors.
